Now I have to say: every single baby and every couple who I photograph are special to me. It’s always an honor to capture any moment in time for someone–whether it’s a wedding, a brand new baby, or another milestone. Life is fleeting, and I believe all moments are worth documenting (even the mundane!), and every session is memorable to me!
BUT. When I get to be with a couple from their engagement session, through wedding planning and their wedding day, to capturing maternity photos, and welcoming a baby, now THAT is truly the highest honor in my eyes!
That’s exactly what I’ve been able to do with Shelby and Tyler, and it’s been SO wonderful! Today I have the special honor of sharing photos of their sweet, sweet new babe with you.
And not only that, but this little girl is an official “Little Fighter”, too! She arrived a few weeks early, spent her first days in the NICU and graduated, making her parents official NICU Family to me.
If you’ve been around EPP for awhile, you may know that I too, am a NICU mama and indefinitely hold a very special place in my heart for those who’ve gone through what I did— who had no choice but to test the strength of their new mama and daddy hearts much, much too early.
And isn’t she just an absolute doll? I love photographing babies so much it hurts! Haha.
Congratulations Shelby and Tyler on your newest addition, AND congratulations on becoming a NICU grad family! Essilynn is perfect and I cannot wait to watch her grow!
