This is what brought me to photography and where I plan to stay.
I love watching moms interact with their new babies. Seeing how each mama shows affection toward her baby and how they connect. All unique. All beautiful. The most precious, intimate moments to be part of in this new relationship.
Isn’t it amazing how mothering a new child begins… it’s a brand-new person and relationship and there’s so much to learn, yet at the same time, mom and baby are fully known to one another as much as humanly possible.
I never have to ask a new mother to show affection toward her baby. It’s natural. While I do occasionally have to remind a mama that she’s never “in the way” and that she can reach her baby for a kiss or touch any time she pleases, I don’t have to work hard to create special moments.
My job is to see them as they happen.
Tea’ and family, thank you so much for trusting me to capture these beautiful newborn moments for you! I loved having you in the studio and can’t wait to watch your sweet girl grow!
