Portland Family Photographer Session in Summer Wildflowers

Have you ever dreamt you and your precious daughters were twirling your way through a field of wildflowers in beautiful flowy summer dresses with golden sunshine shimmering on your skin and curls? I’m Emilie, your Portland Family Photographer, and if these are your summer wildflower session dreams, then I’m your girl! Today I’m sharing one of my favorite family sessions from over the summer. I may be biased, since this mama is my gorgeous cousin, but these are always the sessions I dream about! We had a beautiful golden sunset, wildflowers up to our shoulders, the sweetest little ladies, and a palette of soft greens, blues, and rosy creams. What could be better? Not much!

It’s no secret…

It’s no secret that getting ready for photos with two toddlers in tow can feel like a marathon, and the session itself can feel a little crazy. Many moms have commented to me that they can’t imagine how I even got one decent photo, but absolutely love the full gallery they receive.

The great thing about working with me, your Portland Family Photographer, is that you don’t actually need to worry about any of that! Not only do I send out an extensive guide to mothers, helping them to prep for their session mentally and physically, but I also have an extensive client closet available to use for sessions full of $100+ gorgeous flowy dresses.

It goes without saying, that during the session, the only thing you need to do is enjoy the time with your family. Let any stress of the day go out the window and enjoy the time we have together cell phone free and out in nature, smiling, laughing, and playing with your family. I will take care of the rest, I promise!

As your Portland Family Photographer, I’m always watching and waiting for the sweet moments. The open mouth kisses, the pulling on mama’s dress, and hugs from the safety of daddy’s arms. My photo sessions are always a mix of a few base poses with plenty of time for candid, real life moments.

These days are long, but oh boy, are they worth it.
