Babies are born year-round, and while I’m 100% a fan of embracing the season you’re in (like this winter maternity session here), there’s always the option of a studio maternity session—indoors, where it’s warm, cozy, and sheltered from the elements! Or, regardless of the weather, maybe you are desiring a classic portrait session–just you and your beautiful growing baby bump! Either way, I am 100% supportive!
Katie opted to have both an outdoor portion and a studio portion during her session! I loved the simplicity of Katie’s photos in my private studio, shot on both digital and classic, timeless, B&W film.
I absolutely love the instant nostalgia of these images. The dreamy film grain. The undistracting nature of a classic black and white portrait. I immediately think of how not only Katie, her husband, and parents will cherish these photos as time continues to pass by, but her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, too.
Someday very soon, there will be tiny feet to fill these tiny shoes! Pregnancy is such an amazing time of wonder and imagining all of the future memories to come!
Beautiful Mama, I cannot wait to have you in front of my camera again soon, but next time with a sweet baby in your arms!
Are you interested in a studio session for you or your little one in both color and B&W film? Be sure to drop me an inquiry so we can bring your dream session to life!
